ABOUT BAPTISM

Baptism is a significant step of obedience in the life of a believer. Once we have personally trusted Jesus as our Lord and savior, the Scriptures teach that we should each be baptized. Baptism has nothing to do with joining a church, but it is your public declaration of your private decision to trust Jesus with your life. This is the reason why we often refer to it as “going public” with our faith. When Christians are submerged under water through baptism, they identify with the death and burial. As they are raised out of water, they identify with His resurrection.

ARE YOU READY TO BE BAPTIZED?

If you are ready to be baptized, here are a few simple steps:

Step 1:

FILL OUT THE FORM AND SHARE YOUR STORY
We love hearing how God is impacting our community. Once you submit this online form, a member of our baptism team will contact you and plan your baptism with you.

Step 2:

MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND A BAPTISM SUNDAY

Baptisms take place at the conclusion of both of our 9am and 11am services on baptism Sunday. We also occasionally hold special baptism events at other times.  Typically, baptism Sunday takes place at the end of every month.  Please check our events for the next baptism Sunday.

Step 3:

BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

Friends and family are encouraged to attend! If you are planning on being baptized, don’t worry about bringing anything other than what you plan on wearing before and after your baptism! We have shirts, shorts, towels and anything else that you might need to be baptized that day!
