WHAT TIME ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES?
Our weekend services take place on Sundays at 9:45am and 11:30am.
WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?
Heartland Church has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our services include exciting and contemporary worship and a message from the Bible that will challenge you to grow in your faith and apply practically to your life. In addition, children are well-cared for in a loving, safe and quality nursery or age appropriate Heartland Kids service.
WHAT DENOMINATION IS HEARTLAND CHURCH?
Heartland Church is not affiliated with a denomination. HC is a non-denominational, Bible believing church.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are visiting for the first time, expect to encounter friendly, outgoing people. We also know, however, that people often want to visit church and “be anonymous” and that’s fine with us too. While we will encourage you to take steps in your faith and get involved in our community, we want you to move at a pace that feels right to you. So please, come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and decide if this is the kind of place where you want to serve Jesus!
WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?
At a weekend service you will find a variety of people from different backgrounds. As a result, there will be people in casual clothes as well as others wearing business suits. We want you to wear what is comfortable for you, because HC is not about what you look like or what you wear.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Heartland Church is located at 4020 Nazarene Drive Carrollton, Texas 75010 and has services on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am.
DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?
Heartland Church places a large emphasis on community. As a result of this, we do not hold a typical mid-week service. Instead, we have Connect Groups and Connect Classes continually ongoing throughout the week. Connect Groups target relationships first and discipleship second and primarily meet in homes throughout the metroplex. Connect Classes target discipleship first and relationships second and meet primarily at HC in a class format nearly every night of the week.
If you are interested in an adult bible-study and discipleship class, join us on Wednesdays at 7pm in the sanctuary. This class is led by our executive pastor, John Crews.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At Heartland Church, your children are a top priority to us. Our nurseries are cleaned weekly and are safe, clean and staffed with loving workers who have been given a background check and are qualified. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called “Heartland Kids” as well as life-changing ministry to students all the way through college.
HOW DO I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
If you have visited HC and want to consider getting involved, then your next step is to attend our Growth Track. Our Growth Track will help you understand entry points into the church, help you understand the culture of HC and give you the chance to serve or join a Connect Group. The Growth Track is a four part class that takes place each Sunday at 12:30pm in our student sanctuary and lasts roughly 45 minutes. Our suggestion is for you to attend the 11am service and then join us afterward.
WHY ARE CONNECT GROUPS SO IMPORTANT TO YOU?
Connect groups are an important part of HC because we believe that life was meant to be shared in community and not just through an hour on a Sunday. Groups allow you to meet others, develop relationships, serve the community, plug into an interest and spur on your relationship with God. As HC grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Chances are that there is bound to be a group near you and for you. Learn more about Connect Groups in our Connect Group section.
