We recognize that people who invest their hearts, time, families and finances in building a local church need to have confidence in church leadership. Heartland Church has worked hard to assemble a group of leaders who conduct themselves with integrity and who strive to earn the respect of our partners.
1. WE ARE GUIDED BY OUR PASTORS
The Executive Staff, led by the Lead Pastor, oversees the day-to-day ministry and operations of the church. These staff pastors serve the congregation and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church.

2. WE ARE PROTECTED BY OUR ELDERS
Our Spiritual Elders consist nine non-staff partners of the congregation who oversee spiritual and financial matters related to the church. They provide counsel to the HC Executive Team on a variety of matters, including any major financial commitments of the church.

3. WE ARE STRENGTHENED BY OUR PASTORAL OVERSEERS
Our Overseers are comprised of three pastors of nationally respected congregations and ministries who love Heartland Church and are willing to provide spiritual oversight and protection to the church. Our Overseers are consulted on a variety of matters effecting HC. The Overseers serve as Apostolic Elders.
