Heartland Kids Summer Blast is a three day dynamic experience that will help your child discover God’s word in an exciting and unforgettable way! Each day, they will learn a specific Bible point that is reinforced with scripture, skits, and interactive creative elements made just for them. Because we are a church that believes in community, each child will be placed with an intentionally designed small group with kids in the same age/grade to help build those  relationships! Summer Blast 2024 is free and open to all kids entering into Kindergarten through 5th grade. Join us today! It’s going to be a BLAST!

HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO BE TO ATTEND SUMMER BLAST?
Summer Blast is for children entering grades K-5th. We do ask that if your child is entering into Kindergarten that they be fully potty trained to attend. 

WHAT DO I DO TO CHECK-IN WHEN I ARRIVE WITH MY CHILD?
We will begin checking in at 8:30 AM EACH DAY. At that time you can take your child to the designated areas where they will meet their group leader.

CAN MY CHILD BE IN THE SAME GROUP AS THEIR FRIENDS?
Yes; however, it is important that you note the names of their friends on their online registration forms. Additionally, please understand that if your child and their friend are vastly different in age, it will be difficult to put them in the same group. We will do our best but we cannot make any promises. 

CAN MY CHILD JUST MEET ME OUTSIDE AT THE END OF THE MORNING?
Safety is the number one priority at Summer Blast. Because of this, you must pick up your child in the designated pick up area at 12:00 PM each day. You must present your child’s pick up ticket to our team in order for your child to be released. If you have lost the ticket, please be prepared to show your ID for our team to check. If you have designated someone else to pick up your child, please make sure that you have either (a) given the pick-up ticket to that person, or (b) sent a picture of the pick up ticket to the designated person with a written consent. *Please note that every day your child will have a different ticket. You cannot save it from previous days. This is to ensure maximum safety. Any other pick up questions can be directed to our Children’s Director, Tiana Gray. 

WILL CHILDCARE BE PROVIDED BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER SUMMER BLAST?
Childcare will not be provided before or after Summer Blast unless you are serving with us. Doors open at 8:30 AM each morning, and the program will end at 12:00 PM. Please be prompt when picking up your child.

WILL LUNCH OR SNACKS BE SERVED DURING SUMMER BLAST?
Snacks will be served each day. Lunch will not be provided. If your child has a food allergy, please make sure to note it on the online registration form.

WHAT IF I CAN SERVE BUT NOT EVERYDAY?
We need lots of people serving to make Summer Blast a success! Even if you cannot commit to serving every day, we would love to have your help. If you are interested in serving, please register online, and you will be contacted by the Summer Blast team.
