JULY 31 – AUGUST 2

For three days, our dynamic kids experience will help your child discover God’s word in an exciting and unforgettable way! Each day, they will learn a specific Bible point that is reinforced with scripture, skits, and fascinating creative elements made just for them. Summer Blast 2017 is free and open to all kids from 4 years old to those entering 5th grade.

  • 8:15 AM – Check-In and Registration
  • 8:30 AM – Doors Open
  • 9:00 AM – Summer Blast Begins
  • 12:00 PM – Summer Blast Ends and Pick-Up
* On Wednesday from 12pm – 3pm we will have our Baptism Party! This will include food and fun outdoor activities for the whole family! 

HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO BE TO ATTEND SUMMER BLAST?
Summer Blast is for children 4 years old to entering 5th graders. Additionally, they must be potty-trained. 

WHAT DO I DO TO CHECK-IN WHEN I ARRIVE WITH MY CHID?
We will begin checking in at 8:15 AM EACH DAY. At 8:30 AM you may then take your child to the designated areas where they will meet their group leader. 

CAN MY CHILD BE IN THE SAME GROUP AS THEIR FRIENDS?
Yes; however, it is important that you note the names of their friends on their online registration forms. 

CAN MY CHILD JUST MEET ME OUTSIDE AT THE END OF THE MORNING?
Safety is the number one priority at Summer Blast. Because of this, you must pick up your child in their small group area at 12:00 PM each day. You must present your child’s claim ticket to their small group leader and then AGAIN at the exit doors, so please keep your ticket with you. If you have designated someone else to pick up your child, please make sure that you have either (a) given the pick-up ticket to that person, or (b) received written permission from our Children’s Director, Mikey Faulkner.

WILL CHILDCARE BE PROVIDED BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER SUMMER BLAST? 
Childcare will not be provided before or after Summer Blast unless you are serving with us. Doors open at 8:30 AM each morning, and the program will end at 12:00 PM. Please be prompt when picking up your child. 

WILL LUNCH OR SNACKS BE SERVED DURING SUMMER BLAST?
Snacks will be served each day. Lunch will not be provided except for during our baptism party. If your child has a food allergy, please make sure to note it on the online registration form. 

WHAT IF I CAN SERVE BUT NOT EVERYDAY? 
We need lots of people serving to make Summer Blast a success! Even if you cannot commit to serving every day, we would love to have your help. If you are interested in serving, please register online, and you will be contacted by the Summer Blast team.

Summer Blast this year is going to be centered around the teaching and practice of baptism. We are so excited to announce that on day 3 of Summer Blast, we will be hosting a baptism party where those children who feel led to be baptized can make take that next step in their faith. Additionally, following these baptisms, we are hosting a party filled with Chick-Fil-A, snow cones, bounce houses, and water slides. It is our hope that the whole family will come to be a part of this wonderful event. 
 
The day will look like the following:
 
•  You will still pick your child up from their small group at noon and check them out.
•  We will then hang out in the lobby for a moment and watch the baptisms take place.
•  Once the baptisms have been completed, the party will begin! 
•  From noon to 3pm, we will all be laughing, playing, and having fun together as a church family. We hope to see you there!
