Heartland Church wants you to know that we care deeply about what’s going on in your life. Each request that is sent to us is emailed to our prayer intercessors. When you mark your prayers as confidential, it is sent only to the members of the pastoral team and prayer ministry team leads.
The Bible tells us that the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and that His ears are open to their prayers (1 Peter 3:12). No matter what you may be going through today, know that the moment you pray, God hears you!

Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! I have 2 prayer requests. The first is for a very close friend of our family that is battling cancer. He let it go too long before seeing a doctor and it has spread. The doctor says it is terminable but I know God is able to heal him. Pray for his wife as well to have strength to care for him and for financial deliverance. Their names are Cecil and Joy.
Also, please pray with me about my job. The last year presented some challenges and was very difficult. I know God placed me here but I'm feeling very vulnerable right now. Pray for God's continued favor and to give me wisdom to do what I have to do. Also, to listen to His leading and help me to be obedient to whatever He directs. I have been asked to have as many prayer warriors as possible pray for 18month old Daktoa Miller. He was CareFlight transported to Children's Hospital and is currently on Life Support after an injury with a nail gun. He and his family needs to be covered with prayer during this devastating tragedy. Thank you HC. I have been sensing the Lord leading me towards becoming a police officer in the city I live in, Portland. I have started the application process, and the Lord seems to be guiding. If this is truly His direction for me, I will need a strong Christian church community surrounding me. Please pray that the Lord will lead me to the right church, which feels like a home. Pray for a church that is deeply grounded in Scripture, with solid Bible studies. Pray for a church with regular, powerful, corporate prayer. A church that reaches out to the community, that is leading people to Christ, and discipling people. A church where people with serious addictions, and bad pasts have transformed lives. Where the main focus is relationship with Christ, and the transforming power of the cross, and where the mark of the community is love. A place where I will really, really grow in the Lord, grow in the Word, grow in love, godliness and service in the community. Thanks for your prayers. Requesting prayers as I have a follow CT scan on 01/07/19 for multiple small nodules that were found in my lungs in April. Asking specifically for prayers to calm the anxiety that I am feeling about this test and that the nodules have remained the stable. Please pray for my son,Kenneth. He is going through a divorce, and on top of that, his restaurant closed and he’s without a job. He is trusting God to open a door for him, and to supply the needs for his two sons until then. (As a praise report, God is using this to draw him closer. Kenneth has downloaded the Bible App and is reading a daily devotional.)
Pray that he continues to seek God’s wisdom, and that he seek Godly council.
Thank you for praying. As we go through a very difficult time, I ask that you pray God will open our hearts, our souls, and our minds so that we can come together as one and be a family. My SO and I are struggling with some challenges we have been facing for over a year now, and I pray that God will guide us through this situation so we can be a better family than we ever thought we could be. I appreciate your prayers! Our company cleaning lady came to me this morning about her neighbor, Debbie Tate. She has breast cancer and is currently going through aggressive chemo therapy. She is terribly ill. She will have to have surgery and more chemo. Praising God now for His mercy and compassion on Mrs. Tate and all who are experiencing this terrible illness. Thank you God for standing by us during these trials and carrying us through it. In Jesus name, we pray in agreement. My husband Glenn was laid off recently asking for prayer for our family!
We know God is faithful and a good good father. We are believing for a miracle.
Please pray for my children and the children of our nation. Lord, help our children Russell Ceaira and Sydney to listen to what You say, and to treasure Your commands. Tune their ears to wisdom, and help them concentrate on understanding (Proverbs 2:1-2. Instruct Russell, Ceaira and Sydney in the way of wisdom and lead them along straight paths (Proverbs 4:11). in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen My daughter just sent a prayer request for her mother, my ex, Syd is in ICU after experiencing two seizures yesterday.
