My best friend has had Sarcoidosis since she was 9 years old. Over the years she’s struggled day in and out with health issues. She is currently in ICU due to mycoplasma pneumonia, pleurisy and a staph infection. She is unable to breathe on her own and they have intubated her and she is breathing with the help of a ventilator. Tomorrow she will go in for a lung washing procedure. She has a 6 year old daughter. She told her mom before being put in a medically induced coma that she felt like she was dying and scared to die alone with no one by her side.
