What is Saturday SERVE?

Saturday SERVE takes place on the first & third Saturday of every month starting in our Heartland Hope Center with prayer at 9:30am. Saturday SERVE was created to help our partners serve the community each month in planned and strategic ways. Each month, we gather together for focused prayer and focused service. The Heartland Hope Center is located at 2300 Valley View Lane suite 230 , Farmers Branch, TX 75234. Make sure you do not go to Irving as Google Maps and Apple maps can misdirect you!

The mornings begin with a 30 minute time of prayer led by one of our SERVE team members. After the prayer time ends, team members branch off into various service opportunities dependent on the day.

At each Saturday SERVE, we host our Heartland Food Distributions to our community from 11am-1pm. But in addition, we use our Saturday SERVE to serve others in a myriad of ways. Whether that’s moving a widow into a new home, serving our local retirement homes, or reaching out to the homeless, the goal is to take the Saturday and sow it into others. In doing so, we’re teaching our families and our flesh that Christ came to serve and not to be served—and the same is true for us.
