Legacy Christmas Initiatives

Christmas is an important time for us to rally together and meet the needs of others. Here are some of the ways that we’re getting involved and making a difference in our community and church.

This year, Heartland Church is adopting all 170 police officers in the Carrollton Police Department. On December 11th, our Heartland Kids will take time out of their class to write cards of appreciation to every member of the department. With every thank you card from our kids, each police officer will receive a small gift card just to say thanks for keeping our communities safe! By giving to our Legacy offering, you’ll help us appreciate our police department.

On December 20th, HC will host our first ever Night of Hope dinner hosted for families who find themselves in a difficult place this Christmas season. We’ll shower all of our guests with love, prayer and a host of presents for their family. You can participate by adopting a family or by assisting at the dinner. If you know of a family that you think should be included for our Night of Hope, you can nominate them by texting “HCHOPE” to 41411 or email becky.porter@theheartlandchurch.com.

Remember that when you give to our Legacy Offering, you are helping us sow into the lives of not only these at Christmas but all year long in the areas of local missions and benevolence!
