Heartland Church exists to love people to life and one way we do that is providing hope to those in our community who are in need of assistance. Our goal is not to simply distribute food and other material goods, but to develop lasting relationships that, over time, will encourage those who receive help to return and help others.

If you need assistance or want to volunteer to help, check out the tabs below to learn more.

November 6th

  1. GraceBridge Food Distribution at Heartland Church

We will have our regularly scheduled “on-site” food distribution for First Saturday (did you know we also do an “off-site” distribution on the 3rd Saturday of each month?) We need your help serving our neighbors in need. We will have in-person food distribution at the church.  We will distribute food and personal care boxes and pray for all that come to bless their family. We will also take food to a local retirement community and serve 10-15 families there. We need 10-12 volunteers to help greet, pray, and load the boxes into the recipients’ cars and deliver them to the retirement apartments. To register for this project, click here.

Join Us in Giving Hope this Christmas

Giving Hope is about giving children more than just a gift under the tree. By sharing the love of Jesus, we are giving them the lifelong gift of hope. Heartland Church is partnering with local elementary schools to identify families that need a little extra help to give their children Christmas this year.  We will host a special day of shopping at Heartland Church for these parents and share the love and message of Jesus Christ with each one.  We will also provide Bibles for each child and wrap every gift their parents lovingly selected.  This event starts now as we go and shop for these families and continues through the next 8 weeks as we receive and sort gifts. On December 18th we will host these families throughout the day at Heartland Church. We will need many volunteers to make this a true success.

We would like to invite you all to share the love of God by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of others through our Giving Hope Christmas Experience. By sponsoring a child through Giving Hope, you will personally provide gifts to help make their Christmas meaningful and show them the message of Jesus.

At Heartland Church, parents will be paired with a shopping host to personally select gifts for their children, have their gifts wrapped, and pray with our ministry team. Children will have their own special experience where they will enjoy crafts, snacks, and hear the Christmas story.

You can pick up a sponsor packet at the Giving Hope table in the Heartland Church lobby. Sponsor packets are available for children of all ages.

Heartland Church be hosting a Christmas Shopping Mall Experience on December 18.

There are many ways you can serve at the Giving Hope Christmas Mall, including gift wrapping, prayer, kid’s crafts, hospitality and shopping inventory. Please use our online form to sign up for the location, time and area in which you would like to serve. If you have questions, please connect with the representative at the Giving Hope table in the lobby or click here to register for the Giving Hope Team.
